Terms of service

These terms apply when you use this site and when you order from or book with Great Dog Academy. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who you are dealing with

Great Dog Academy provides what you order or book here and is responsible for it. The site runs on BowlBase, which provides the shop, checkout and accounts for Great Dog Academy.

Your account

• You need an account for some things, such as saving your dogs. You can also order or book as a guest.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give us details that are true and keep them up to date, especially your email, phone and address.

Orders, bookings and prices

• Prices are shown in US dollars. The price you pay is the one shown when you check out or book.
• An order or booking is accepted when you receive our confirmation. We may refuse or cancel one, for example if a price was shown in error. If we cancel after you paid, we refund you in full.
• We may also cancel a booking if the time or space is no longer available; we tell you and refund your deposit in full.
• How you receive what you ordered or booked is described in our Shipping and delivery policy. Cancellations, returns and refunds are described in our Returns policy.

Payments

• Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• A booking may take a deposit when you book. The amount, and how long you have to cancel for a refund, are shown before you pay.

Your dog

• Where this site suggests products or offers a chat assistant, those are suggestions to help you choose. The chat assistant uses artificial intelligence and can be wrong. Nothing on this site is veterinary advice.
• When you book a visit or a stay, tell us what we should know about your dog and keep it current. If a service needs a vaccination, we ask for it when you book or for proof at drop-off.

Using the site

• Do not misuse the site: no attempts to break in, overload it, or collect other people's information.
• If you upload a photo to identify your dog's breed, it is used for that purpose only and is not kept.

Liability

We take care with what we sell and do, but to the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any order or booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page applies to orders and bookings placed after it was posted.
